A little story about the origin of your Giant Wall-Mounted Dream Catcher:
Before being a beautiful wall decoration, dreamcatchers are above all a talisman created by the first Indian tribes of North America. In Native American culture, it is said that the night is filled with dreams, some good, some bad. The Native Americans therefore invented dream catchers in order to filter all these dreams and only kept the good ones. The macrame woven web inside the silver hoop or circle represents the weaving of a spider's web. Suspended at the entrance of the Tipi, the dreams of the night then cross the rings of the Giant Wall-Mounted Dream Catcher. They are then filtered thanks to the handmade weaving in linen twine. Bad dreams and nightmares are then captured and imprisoned in the ring while sweet dreams slip down the ribbons and feathers to reach the sleepers of the hearth. Dreamcatchers are therefore a real trap in the Indian tradition. The nightmares then captured during sleep are burned pell-mell in the first rays of the sun and the first light of day. This is why it must be hung in a bright room. Although it is very dreamlike, it is a sacred object among Native American tribes. The willow wood beads are used to give strength and vigor to the dreamcatcher. This craft object was made by grandmothers to protect the baby room by hanging it above the Cradle.
Today used to decorate or as a decorative object, Giant Wall Dream Catchers are part of the legend of Native American tribes.
